Was born and raised in San Diego California. Was interested in music at an early age but thought it was uncool to play an instrument(wrong).Got my first set of turntables(record players actually) and a Radio Shack mixer at the age of 9.Started DJing while my best friend at the time was the rapper.As DJs started to get pushed aside I secretly started writing lyrics.Emcees got all the attention and i wanted it. So me and my friend formed a group called DSP(Da Soul Providas).We got a little sniff of the mainstream but a certain label owner filed for bankruptcy(no names).I decided to call it quits for a few years but never stopped writing(good form of therapy for me).After listening to all the stuff they play on the radio I decided to give it another try.JonDoe360 was born. The name comes form everybody knowing me but not knowing it was me they were listening to. JonDoe(no one knows its me)360(im always around). |
